who are we? in these moments when we can still create, take a pen to a wall or light a candle on a cake, what are we? our bodies, made of the same organic compounds that make up the earth have electricity currents that keep our heart pumping blood. memories, real to ourselves fade into and out of existence and disappear in the same will.
buildings rise, roads are laid one over the other in a connection of areas where we meet and conduct commerce. trading in digital capital we hold jobs and build families and go to schools where we learn as much about how to interact as to what we are interacting as. in moments we get down to what we are, but only on a physical level.
we see doctors when our parts fail, seek comfort when the weather gets too cold and get sick with similar viruses that now affect our computer systems. we connect and disconnect with the random chance that brings us into and out of sleep. we board planes and fly to other countries, take photos to remember them and sample other situations. we create then destroy.
