god came down to earth. he wanted to check out how his world was going, he had provided everything necessary for man had to get along, the earth would provide all the nutrients needed. to play, explore and multiply. it was all we needed to do. the seeds were laid, the rules written, he wanted to see how the experiment was going.

when he got down to the planet he was a bit taken back by what he saw. large factories, scorched earth, pillaged what was left and his people had put on costumes to play against one another and offer loans, term sheets and water bills. people were behind bars, consumed with making things and destroying other things, frantically running around engaged in anything but what he thought he would see. condensed groups of societies well beyond what he had expected. with the animals mainly cornered off in far corners, the fields were full but a bit off colour of what he had started with.

he grabbed the first group of people he took focus on and asked, what are you doing, who are you serving and for what purpose? mumbles at first, since his followers had not seen a god in a while, but after a bit of awkwardness, the humans began to talk…

we are working to get ahead, to have homes and to survive. to grow and to succeed yelled another. another shouted that he was working to get home to his offspring who are alone. a girl stood quiet in front and simply looked at the floor while mumbling a commercial . a confused god spoke to them and said they had everything, they did not need to work, climb or conquer, there was enough for all and each would be taken care of by their own abilities. the crowd looked at each other, shrugged and then one mentioned that if he could, can each have a bit more. there simply is not enough to go around he beckoned. god, staring at this man who had a belly way bigger then his first child adam, explained that the hunger he had is insatiable and that it would not fulfil his biggest quench….

god went back upstairs and mankind went back to what it was doing swirling around together in all sorts of stories and games. dancing and acting with each other in any way they can while showing whatever they can into their mouths and realities. gathering speed in a frantic race to catch up with itself.
