always laugh when you can. it is cheap medicine.

have we gone too far? on recent exploration of the internet and the amount of porn, violence and other vice for our everyday consumption… you could say yes. but is eating from the tree of knowledge truly a sin and havent we been living outside of eden for our whole lives? the choices were always there, just not aplenty. it lived in the corners, in the back of truck stops and underneath the mattresses. it was spoken in code, hidden from both man and woman in retaliation of what it might do to our children. there is speculation that the decadence of ancient rome and their people is what caused the empire to fall. what would they think of today?
from various vantage points anything can be explained or argued. find anything, anyone and any instance and there will be someone that can argue for both sides of the coin. freedom comes with great responsibility, but to whom does this responsibility fall upon?

it is all of our faults, this power we have given the executive branch of our government. although america does not need a daddy, we have created one. we have, over the years, given more and more power over to one branch of the government, weakening and tilting the control of power into a system that we have to live in today. during each of our times at power, neither side pulled back the reins and limited what can be done by one person leading so many. it was not always this way, and will not be in the future. it scares me to think how far we have to go to learn this lesson.
