we know attachment causes suffering. yet we cling to it all. we focus on what we don’t have and try to jockey for more. we are insatiable. the more we have, the more we want. we hold on to these thing with all our might.
the more we gain, the less secure we tend to feel. it can be taken, we could lose it. we need to manage it, store it, make it work. at the same time, other things come about that we also want to cling onto. things that are temporary
