we have not much choice in it all. we are born into a certain time and situation, then we react. the noise that comes to us, the wars and pandemics along with the rainbows and lollipops are all arriving without us ever aware of how, when or why. we are here to accept or deflect it, reacting to a series of instances. our idea that we have any choice in the matter is easily diffused when you start to listen to the words in your mind, feel the heart beating, find an errant hair or simply look around and notice how this all came to be. all of us, at one time of another, must wonder how this all came about.
philosophers since the beginning have been pondering these such questions. our existence, our actions and how we unfold in front of them. what causes courage in others and flight in others. why laughter comes easy for some while others are prone to cry. what creates fairness in a world that is seemingly indifferent to the woes we receive or inflict onto it.
perhaps we manifest these feelings, the reactions to the world around us. its the best or the worst depending on our own frame of mind and reaction to the situations around us. its our own world to unfold into, our reaction to the food in front of us is an idea of what the meal is. good or bad, really depends on the author or narrator. a mixture of chemicals, genes and thunderstorms bring about feelings of bliss of blatant disgust. but that perspective also escapes our choice so the vicious circle continues.
