on tying to be good…
most of the time it is harmless. the teasing, running of red lights, snacking late nights, masturbating alone, trying to sneak something from someone, lying or promising something you do not plan to carry forward. the world is big, what would it matter if you did not keep your word or shared what you had promised. some of the worlds biggest scumbags are currently running the show. bragging about paying no taxes, bribing politicians and cheating to get ahead. industries are run by risk takers, nations are grown by expansion and takeovers, who respects the man that gets trampled on or who was nice? teaching one thing, but doing another. the mysterious glue that holds mankind still amazes one when you think of the loose fabric that holds it all together. it explains why there are so many laws and rules. the lobbyist do their best to minimise these rules and regulations in order for their clients to get ahead with any means necessary. make it as minimally applicable as possible, just within the realm of the law, like the minimum insurance necessary to hold in case it all goes wrong.
it feels better to be good. to exercise, to help strangers and to walk a narrow and straight path. telling the truth requires that you do not have to remember anything except what happened. your true friends will adore you, you will have enough, perhaps even too much. it is enough, anything excess is unhealthy. how much can you put into your system to the point where you are simply disgusted. happiness and fulfilment is right there between having too little and getting too much. exercise followed by a good meal, a drink of two, but no further. occasional smoke, occasional donut. just not six at a time. brush the teeth, drink alot of water, less garbage, more good stuff. the moment of happiness awaits with each moment your delay the instant crap to come your way.
