happiness is a place between too much and too little.
-finish proverb
a healthy body, a healthy mind…
so its the new years, a fine time to start a healthy diet, the holidays have proven to be too much. parties, food, drinks and no work to get in the way of it all. hypothetically the holiday is still going on, between christmas and chinese new years not much really happens in china. what better time to become more aware of what is going on with what you are eating and drinking.
what we eat and drink affects us in multiple ways, the way we feel and think. processed food, always the yummiest, seems to be the things to avoid. going to also work on less alcohol as well…
the effects are real:
Effects of alcohol
The effects of any drug (including alcohol) vary from person to person. How alcohol affects a person depends on many things including their size, weight and health, also whether the person is used to it and whether other drugs are taken. The effects of any drug also depend on the amount taken.
After a few drinks — more relaxed, reduced concentration and slower reflexes.
A few more drinks — lowered inhibitions, more confidence, reduced coordination, slurred speech, intense mood (sad, happy, angry).
Still more drinks — confusion, blurred vision, poor muscle control.
More still — nausea, vomiting, sleep.
Even more — possibly coma or death.
There is no safe level of alcohol use. Use of alcohol or other drugs always carries some risk—even medications can produce unwanted side effects. It is important to be careful when taking any type of drug including alcohol.
–the way it happens is habits. a beer after work, then another, then another, with not real conscious effort of what it is doing to the body or mind. so many things that could be done instead, not so easy, but the harder something is today the better off you will be tomorrow. gonna start moving that happiness on. day one, lets see how it goes.

note to self: perhaps the effect of this experiment will also change the mood of my daily ramblings?
