before it all we were naked. into this world, we had nothing. our experiences have shaped it since. parents, over and over again, telling us how we should act, dress and behave. we accept more. teachers, providing insight and grading us on our papers, reports and our overall demeanour. we graduated and move out, into college where the curve is increased and we are made to practice further with papers and reports and showing up. we interact more with others, we study and we come to our senses. we become who we will become.
as the time moves forward, we begin to work and make more friends. we take on debts and sign contracts, we make promises and some of us marry. kids follow or they do not. we show, we work and we spend. we accept what we have too. we drink and we eat and we sleep. we call our moms, grow our hair out and untuck our shirt. we help others and we help ourselves, we see it all and so little, we grow up and at the time we forget. we become aware of some things while forgetting others, we have less time and more responsibilities. we age further, start to define what the rules should be, we educate and we train.
towards the end we lose ourselves further. we get cold, dress in layers, deplete our savings and grow older. we consume still but less, we spend more time at home, more time alone. we accept less. fear and confusion begin to set in. less ourselves and more others. we laugh and stare at children. we lose our teeth and the symbiotic fluid that keeps our joints comfortable. we leave naked.
