its hard for everyone. physical pain, emotional fears and setbacks are universal, you can see it on the faces and hear it if you listen carefully. each person going through individual struggles. novels could be filled with individual stories of strife and pressure, the difficulty would not be in finding the story but the writing needed to paint it in a capturing light. when reality tv started to make its momentum, i thought anyone could be followed with a camera and there would be something to watch.
a wise man once told me, help anyone or everyone. it was during my introduction to service projects and he explained that everyone needs help. some people want someone to listen too, others perhaps a meal, a few dollars, help in the myriad of problems that set them back. rich men, young kids, healthy or sick, there is always something you can do. if at anytime i can assist, it is much better then taking away something. and helping does not necessarily mean praising, you can sometimes help by being stern, in actuality this sometimes is the best way to help.
and in this knowledge, some people that need help, do not need respect. if you meet the bosses of the world, higher up politicians and the rock stars, it will do you best to treat them with as little esteem and admiration. save those for the people that need it, the ones doing the hard work day to day, taking out your trash and cleaning your homes. the ones sitting on their pedestals need to be brought back down to earth, and if done right they will respect you and appreciate it more. we are all the same, playing games and gathering coins in long game of quest. the winners and losers are determined internally, with really our friends and family to decide how you have done at the end. the ego is best left aside, as a strange part of this thing called life. like a platypus.
