from the hillside one hopes the clouds will part and the view will rush in. that clarity can be found among all the noise that one creates your life. but life does not cede to our wishes. it simply happens. and there is no right or wrong in it all, there are no winners or losers. we simply are in the clouds at times and have amazing sunrises in others. inside, we are the same. there is nothing to reach, no up or down, there is simply the here and now. and that is all…all the other games we play, the cool game, the rich game, the power game are all nonsense.

as we become aware of the game we can then go about playing it better. we can take the game, the work game, the love game, the neighbor game the friend game, and be happy with whatever sequence comes out of it. what else is there? what is winning it if someone else has to lose it. for you to be on the top means someone has to be below, what fun is that? what fun is to get one up on another person, to feel better then they do. it is awful and makes us all feel bad when we do it to someone. so be happy in whatever place you might be, the customer the boss the cleaner. its all the same.

this is the secret. you cant make a mistake. there is no such thing as a mistake. it is a hard thing to accept, since all along we are told there is a right way and a wrong way, but this is nonsense. everything is two sided. if you work too much, you play less, if you play too much, you miss the other side. everyone is trying to have the whole thing up with no downside. to get one up, the see the perfect sunrise, to have the clouds part just this way, but this is impossible. we frame it to others, in our social media post and in our stories but where is the other side? it is there, it is all around, we just tend to mute it for some silly idea what this part mattered and that did not. but in wisdom comes with the understanding that there is no status game. there are no joneses to keep up with. and to be a master at this is also quickly to realize that this is also a trick. so look into the clouds and enjoy then the same way you would a clear sky, they are both the same.
