we keep at it. hacking away at the caves, the walls, the relationships. spinning the myriad of plates that we need to keep in the air for it all to work. we have multiple fronts to attack. family. friends. health. business. and other. they all need to wobble well enough, should one start to fall and break the others seize to matter. like our bodies, they work in a system. although they can continue without one in tact, the health of the overall being breaks apart.
they intertwine but are not necessarily dependent. a healthy family life is great, but can strain your friendships or keep you away from the office. should your health fail, well family and business suffer. what is necessary is a balance, a delicate dance where you keep things in check. you run between it all, pushing and pulling where it needs it. it takes a bit of luck and some practice but we tend to feel what is necessary to pull it off.
all the while the world spins. a balancing act going on outside our doors with a harmony of sorts found within nature and in our own communities. at times these also fall out of wack, but for the most part serenity moves forward. sane minds conquer and we move together in one large group towards a goal yet unknown. things suffer. things die. its the worlds way of keeping a balance. like the meals in our day, the clothes in our closets and the money in our wallet we find a balance that works, just well enough.
