Striking a balance. It is crucial in everything, but just where this balance levels out has always been a question. It is universally the same, but each person and each time has a different level of what this balance is. And it is in everything, work, love, play, rest, exercise, time spent on a project or on a blog. It is what is meant in the adage:

The key to balance is to know when you lost it.

And you do, you can feel the shift and all the signs in the world, if you look, will go off. Just do the opposite for a while. Dont hold on too much, for you never will achieve what you set out too, but dont let go too quickly or you will never get it. Dont not do, but dont do.

Fantastic story on the bible by this Canadian named Jordan B. Perterson. He does a phenomenal job at both bringing the ancient story of the bible into the modern world, while at the same time explaining it in its historical context.

Balance.

It gets alot sometimes, I like to have it on in the background while Im going about chores and trying to zero in on certain points. Find it below and how he explains it here—

The Bible is a series of books written, edited and assembled over thousands of years. It contains the most influential stories of mankind. Knowledge of those stories is essential to a deep understanding of Western culture, which is in turn vital to proper psychological health (as human beings are cultural animals) and societal stability. These stories are neither history, as we commonly conceive it, nor empirical science. Instead, they are investigations into the structure of Being itself and calls to action within that Being. They have deep psychological significance. This lecture series, starting with the very first book, will constitute an analysis of that significance.
