the new generation of photos…

if we come across a photo that we happen to be in, we immediately zero in and find ourselves first. it is interesting that we have an ability to sit in front of a mirror and do not, but never tire of finding ourselves in photos. as we travel, we take photos of our families and ourselves in new settings. zeroing in on the subject, our families and ourselves taking priority with friends and further family members coming in a close second. we can go back to the photos, remember the time and place they were taken. not knowing how long the photo will last or where it will appear, digital photography is still a rather new phenomenon that will surely be manipulated and categorised as the digital revolution continues. there will be a time when the photo will be easily manipulated and we might find ourselves in places that we were not. something discussed in this short read about the onset of things that might come…

moments of happiness can be found in between the destinations. that the arrival of a place or another day will bring something unexpected. something greater then what we have today. if you stop to think, our feelings are based almost exclusively on our feelings from the day before. our wealth, measured in numbers, is also in relation to how much we we were holding yesterday. there is a correlation to these two matters that does have interactions with others. schadenfeude, the happiness gained in seeing others fail is one of the elements that trick us into feeling moments of happiness. we compare ourselves to those around us. but mostly to ourselves.
