find the fisherman.

we don’t change. its an important realisation. once you understand this, you can accept the things you have in life and the situation you find yourself in. at its core, it means that the things you like now, whether it be saving money on a sale item or the feel of a t-shirt and jeans as your go-to outfit, these things will not go away. if you go to another place or become poorer or wealthier, the things in your life you find important and comfortable stay the same. so wherever you go in life, whatever you gain or lose, it does not matter for you still love a t-shirt and jeans and care about the things you care about. no amount of things in your life will change this.

this also matters is true with the way your moods. if you are unhappy in london, you will be unhappy in spain. places do not change ourselves, they might, for a short while, allow us to feel as though we are in a different space. but sooner or later your feelings and insecurities will rush back to make you feel just who you are. happiness does not depend on the surroundings, it is all within. so happy in the sleet and rain, happy in the sun and vice versa. one of my favorite things is when the weather and place mirrors my moods, it does not happen that much but on occasion if feels as if one.

“we cover our bodies as they age, and it ends up looking like a slug underneath a rock. Potato like and white, while being hidden from the day of light. We ingest and feed off the turmoil of the world.. “
