i think of dance as a constant transformation of life itself.

As the fire burns in the center of the earth heating us from inside, solar flares shoot out from the sun above. Caught in between we dance like herbs on a frying pan, moving from shade to building, from home to work. We propagate and procrastinate and pretend to have this all under control. From above and below the surface the show goes on and in between we are sandwiched between here and now and do our best to join in. Reacting along with everything else, a universal game of go, hide and seek and the jig.

awash in life this world is us. Swollen by a population at work who are jostling for a seat at the table, a house on the square or simply participation. To be in the game is all we want. A sense of involvement in whatever is making noise, partners to show it to, friends to share the thoughts with. We need our games, our dances and some music to go along with it, if not there is an absence. A long silence that creates a discomfort that is both seen and felt. So the rhythm of the day begins, with the swaying of the trees, the waves in the water and the wind in the air, the rhythm begins.

The whole universe is waving and we are waving along with it. Swaying in a synchronized event better seen from afar. Weaved into us is an energy of positive or negatives. And while bumping into others….we continue our dance, changing waves periodically as we go. Good begetting good, sadness causing that wave to continue. Every cell in our body and amoeba in the ocean jolt, a dance to itself and then with others commences each moment. A universal moments of ons and offs mixed with sun, water and air. Those elements in their own dance, their own pattern, their own way.
