flew back to hawaii, the flight was half full and it allowed me to take advantage of an entire center row and sit comfortably in what my friend calls poor mans first class. the idea of a paying double or triple for the luxury of more leg room and finer dining still does not appeal to me.
i can afford it, but the ways in which i choose to deploy it pretty much stays the same as it was before i had more money then i thought i would need to feel comfortable. i still do not overspend on anything if i can avoid it and love a deal if it can be found. i recently redid my company website for 350$ on fiver and spent an uncomfortable afternoon at a lens crafter debating with the clerk if I should simply order the same frames in his store for half the price from a website…in the end i ordered online.
great video about saving money, creative way to make a video.
we tend not to change. we keep our idea of what is worth something or not. we think we will be different when we get more funds, but we really do not. we put them away, like burying bones and occasionally splurge on a loved one or something we normally would not have bought, but our lives do not change too much. and if they do, like certain lottery winners, we tend to regret it and overspend and lose it all really quickly.
