when everything is fake, nothing is real.

a recent article in the los angeles times just came out and puts a scary spin on the onset of what is sure to become a problem in the near future. the article basically spells out what is in the future for altered and enhanced video editing. with a quick picture, companies and ai can turn a persons faces into an animated and speaking image. at this point in time, the level of technology is not at a level where we can completely be fooled. but shortly, according to the writer, videos of a fake nature will be very hard to tell the difference from ones that are real.

adobe, who started photoshop, who overall has been paramount to photo editing software, has also gotten on board and come up with a disturbing new instrument that allows people to edit voice. this can be used in a very scary way if in the wrong hands. phone calls to your loved ones, you bank or your parents in your voice with no way that can be separated from the real person. a short example is below and it seems like not such a good idea to go marching towards.
