super ball, or super bowl went on today. i do not watch any sports, but i do my best to see the big ones. the world series, olympics, world cup and when i can, the superbowl. the best of the best, i never got into sports, and i feel a bit sad that i never did. a bit of envy i feel for people that love their sports teams, either professional or in college. they cry, scream, take out moments of their weeks to know about the players, the crowds and the schedules. it makes them happy and sad, two feelings i cannot relate too when i see grown men play throwing balls on a big screen.
i enjoy the commercials though, and the level of video, the announcers, the graphics and the simple theater is amazing.
it made me believe in america again. its not that we were ever down and out, but after a couple good commercials:

now 100 percent with these top five but they do a pretty good job of narrowing down the top few. it seems like a good time to celebrate, according to the atmosphere of everything. and this is why i love my nation, anytime, any reason, have some fun and put your back into the work it might take to have this fun. fun, fun fun.
on sunday, with the rest we are given, we wake up and do our best to have a good time with our family in the place we find our selves. we look in the mirror, and one another, and smile the best we can while competing with a piece of pig skin being pulled and pushed by a group of people. we cheer, we scream and we hope that we will win, albeit what we are rooting for is so absurd only the few and the proud ever believe in it all.
i am envious.
