South Korean beauty, Ha Nui Lee aka Honey Lee.

why must we agitate? can we not leave well enough alone, simply let the day be simple, let people get on with what they do, let the paint dry and the weather pass. why must we always till away at the land and our lives when we have enough to get us through winter, what awaits other then rot and fear of loss when we over consume and over water. there is an art in not doing anything that we all must grasp, that not saying things, by not changing or overreacting or complaining is the very receipe for a content life. if we are always chipping away at the bloc there will be nothing left at the end. and as we are chipping away the days fall away and the idea that there is something to be found at the end if foolish in the first place.

you will never be this young again. time will continue to go forward and anything you have or create will be wasted on an older and more frail you. the time is now, or it was of yesterday. stop worrying or complaining, if it is broken then attempt to fix it, but do not shout at others or lay blame for anything that is going wrong, it is all your fault and the problem lies in your head and the perception for which you view it. the world is as great or miserable as you make it out to be.

and then we throw rocks in the glass house.

its a war of our own making. things were just fine before we ate from the one tree we were warned to stay away from. in content, our drive to rip it all apart supersedes the rest of the agenda. we don’t even know it, when we whittle away one another with snide comments and post, creating further anguish and angst in a situation already teetering on the delicate side. like pulling at a hangnail or scratching at an already swollen cut, we peel away the scab to find more blood and pain that never ends and awaits its inevitable infection. we infect further the wounds that we pull open from one another. we do it in boredom, in the best of time and the worst of times, to the ones we love, the ones we don’t know and to ourselves. poison goes in, poison oozes out.
