does the method matter? if you achieve an objective at the end, at what point is the means measured against a person and does any of it make a difference? if you are sitting in a better seat, does anyone care if it was gifted to you or if you managed to achieve it another way? if a test is given and you pass it by luck, cheating or studying hard should the outcome vary– if all we are doing is looking at the final score. these chips we are all collecting, storing away, exchanging for experiences or objects are accumulated in all sorts of unfair and unjust ways. risk takers, rule breakers, cut-throat gangsters and a few lucky ones end up with a large share of it all, the rest share the breadcrumbs.

the harsh reality of it all is that we are all alone. nobody cares for your feelings and everyone is struggling. the hardened, tougher ones get through the longest and end up on top. they will do what they have to do to achieve their goals, bending rules and making up excuses to push ahead. the traffic only yields for you if they have too, waiting on the goodwill and nice intentions of the world is not going to get you anything other then smiles and a few well wishes. no pin to wear, no trophy and certinly no mobility. the poison is put on to the crops to kill the incects and the other plants hoping to have a stake in the field. we rid the others away. we then injest this poison.

the gates keep getting built. the system more complext but in these games the ways to rig the system keep up with it all. we are great manipulators for the rules that are created, mankind has a mischeivous way about getting what it wants. murky water abound, we find outselves glancing where we should not, having unpure thoughts and cutting in lines. this is natural, it is the way we have been ever since we kicked out of eden for not following the simple rules laid out. the sinners are us all.
