kill the dragon, at mount st. micheal.

sometimes we take the day off. close down the mind, wipe off the schedule, sleep late and then go swimming. in the dog days of the summer what else makes sense. in these times of leisure you can get a grasp of how long each day is and also measure out what a day of fun compared to a day of work or school or whatever it is we are told to keep focusing on. i do what i want in work and it still bothers me, the problems that arise and the difficulty in structuring the whole thing together. although we must do it to gather the money (energy) to take the other days off.

too much time off also has its problems. as the saying goes, idle time is the devils workshop. we get into trouble, with free time we tend to want to bend our reality to make the time move, so we consume drugs or alcohol. we also lose some of that stored energy, many of us go a bit crazy without distractions. in a society, too many people doing nothing is one of the scariest things for a government, in idle time they begin to question what and why the politicians are doing with their energy.

like most things, a balance is where it is at. dont work too hard, dont over do the studys, but also dont vacation for too long, dont sit back and on your laurels for other issues will arise. in one effort you move, in the other you pause. like a good tango dance. on and off, then back again. positive to the negative. breath in and breath out. work then dont work. read then stop and think about it. type and then

a great band to balance too.
