It makes one wonder, as the wild fires burn in the heart of Los Angeles, our countries president plans to throw oil into another fire in the middle east and do what no other country in the world is going and move our countries embassy into Jerusalem. You would think that he would be trying to heal our own shattered nation but instead the wheels are set in motion to cause more disharmony in other places.
The divide widens. We can build a strong defence in this nation, we can arm ourselves to the teeth and control our borders and build our walls taller and taller. But this will not help heal our nation. This will not stop us from hating each other and wanting the other side to burn or care less if our fellow man starves or is beaten down.
Hope is what I come back too. Hope for a better nation, a more loving mankind if there is such a thing. And for the fires to not burn so hot.
