a great podcast is like finding a good book, a  real thick book. when done right, and the podcast i recommend below does a fine job of getting pretty close, it is a treat.

i like to listen to podcast when im driving normally, sometimes, if it is philosophy (Alan Watts, Jordan B. Peterson) I prefer to listen too when im falling asleep.

find common sense by dan carlin by clicking below, he can be described as:

Carlin has mastered the art of looking at subjects from multiple angles and dissecting and thinking about them in original ways. He isn’t afraid to go deep or to inject historical context into modern debates. Whether it’s history or current events he’s discussing, his passion is contagious, his approach refreshing and his ideas tickle your brain in all the right places. He’ll make you mad too. You’ll like it.

Its a great podcast and you can listen to it by clicking on the link above. He also has a great podcast on history, called hardcore history, also in there. I think his understanding and studies of history, its dictators, wars, developments and collapse allows him to see modern day politics in a light that shows perspective in the long run. how we got here, where we are going and what might happen if things get too hot.
