start things. conversations, projects, dates, destinations, goals, hobbies and then do em. mans biggest problems is idle time. sitting around, waiting for the world to get easier. waiting to get what is his. too much time to think, to wallow in self doubt or to bask in underserved glory. a recipe for disaster.

idle time is the devil’s workshop.

scripture

creating distractions allows one to consume their thoughts and energies in constructive efforts. the room always could use an improvement, you could become better knowledgeable about endless things and you could always work on fitness and health. passing away time with no objective is a-keen to floating on a raft with no wind or direction. it will leave you stranded and starved, will consume you with doubt and worry and will push others further away.

if you find yourself with no inspiration or emotions to get yourself better, then find another person, animal, plant to help out. work on their problems, effort put into helping anyone, and everyone needs help, is energy best spent. we have to expel this energy in some way, either positively or negatively it must come out, best we focus on the good side and add to our story a weave and collection of things that we can look back on and be proud of on our road to nowhere.
