One of my favorite feelings is when I find something i recently lost. when i misplace a phone, my feelings quickly move to frustration and annoyance but bounce to happiness with a mixture of pride when its found again. i start at 0, i move to a -3 and end up at 4. so is the equation. we start each day, week or month somewhere in the middle where we idle. do nothing, and the needle will not move, it might even go down. face strife, lose something, challenge yourself and your mood will change. focused on a task at hand, no matter how frustrating, something in your mind and body will physically change. like sun on a flower, you might wilt, or like dew on a blade of grass you might glisten, but a physical and mental change is undergoing.

do. whatever your mind is telling you that you know is heading in the right direction. talk to the person who pops up in your mind, get a job, walk around, clean out your basement, kiss your loved ones and stretch your body. get on a bike and smile to a stranger. from point a to point b we go, hardship and the unknown await, but so does adventures and answers. we are all going to go away in due time, enjoy the wave you are on. pretend this is the last day you get to do something, what would you do with it? most of us really do not know how to choose for some obstacles we have put in place that are as imaginary as the adventure you have yet to embark on.

if your dream or destination is out there, shoot for it. like a bowling ball it might end up in the gutter, but you are bound to hit a few pins along the way. either way, your ball will end up on the other side of the lane, if only for a brief moment until it is whisked back underground in some magical way the bowling balls always do. you might not end up with a strike each time, but you will end up closer to where you wanted to go, to who you wanted to be with and where you imagined your keys might be hidden. play the game, any game, while you still can.
