we can’t take any of these things with us, neither the belongings or the memories. its understandable why the kings of days past wanted to be buried with it. the precious stuff, like our bodies they are fading into the past. spinning through the galaxy, gravity is pulling on everything to return back to its roots, from the earth we came, to the earth we will return. all part of the dust and molecules that make it all up. with wasted time on simple follies and issues, we consume our time with a myriad of issues thrust upon us with little choice of its outcomes and purpose. too till away at the issues, like our ancestors did with the land they were granted, in circles we go. spiraling downward, back to the earth we will go.

in the moments in between we dance on the surface, like a flower blooming, in its breif efforts to attract the bees and the sun, to catch the water, like us it does not know why, but dances with as much effort as it can, flinging its seeds as far as it can in order to replicate the dance. efforts to survive and grow run strong in this world.
